CALCIOSS® is a Biphasic Calcium Phosphate (BCP) — a blend of Hydroxyapatite (HA) and β‑Tricalcium Phosphate (β‑TCP). That is the same, well-established class of synthetic ceramic used clinically as bone graft material in sinus lifts and ridge augmentation. NOTCH® applies this identical chemistry directly onto the implant surface by robotic micro-blasting, with no acid-etch residue — giving a surface your body recognises as closely as it recognises a bone graft, engineered for predictable osseointegration.
The dominant, slow-resorbing mineral phase — chemically identical to the mineral component of natural bone.
The resorbable phase that fine-tunes the surface — the same biphasic ratio used in synthetic bone-graft ceramics.
Robotic micro-blasting, acid-free — RA 1.5–2.0 µm — with nothing toxic introduced to the surface.
Note: CALCIOSS® is the same BCP chemistry used in synthetic bone-graft granules, applied here as a surface treatment rather than a bulk graft material — the composition is shared; the form and function on the implant are specific to NOTCH®.
SMART™, UNIQUE™ and SHORT™ share the same internal conical connection and CALCIOSS® surface, so your practice moves between cases without retraining on a new workflow.

A conventional, tapered macroshape — one-implant-to-go for most indications, from loose to harder bone, with a straightforward surgical protocol.

Built for immediate implantation and immediate loading — the thread design condenses bone on insertion for high primary stability in compromised sites.

An aggressive thread profile for limited bone height — work around vital structures with confidence, without grafting procedures.
View specs →The same prosthetic platform carries across SMART™, UNIQUE™ and SHORT™ — from healing through to final restoration — so your lab and surgery stock stays simple.

Shapes and protects the soft tissue through the healing phase, ready for restoration.

Stud-attachment retention for implant-supported overdentures, with simple chairside maintenance.

Ball-and-socket retention for overdentures — an alternative attachment for lower-profile cases.

CAD/CAM titanium base for custom-milled crown and bridge restorations.
A secure conical connection with CALCIOSS® surface technology, consistent across NP and RP platforms.
One consistent prosthetic platform across SMART, UNIQUE and SHORT, simplifying stock and workflow for your practice.
Decades of precision manufacturing heritage in German medical technology, applied to dental implants since 2007.
Continuously refined through scientific evaluation, clinical studies and direct customer feedback.
NOTCH® Implant GmbH's factory was established in 1988 and began manufacturing medical devices in 1991. That precision manufacturing tradition has been applied to dental implants and prosthetic parts since 2007 — built on the same principles of quality, product safety and reliability ever since.
NOTCH implant systems are available to UK practices through an appointed official distribution partner, bringing local stock and support directly to your practice.
